Volunteers

Volunteers are crucial members of our team. We work together to provide the best support and service to the community residents and want your participation to be both enriching and rewarding. Your dedication to furthering the mission, vision, and goals of C5 are of critical importance in our effort to humanely reduce the population of homeless cats.

Our volunteers work hard and diligently to provide excellent service to the community residents who contact us for Trap, Neuter Return services.

Opportunities 

Trapper

Selects projects, coordinates trapping effort with colony caretaker, transports trapped cats to clinic or staging facility. Post surgery returns cats to colony caretaker.

 

Stager

Cares for the cats pre/post surgery at the staging facility.  Cleans traps, provides food and water, and sweeps and mops the floor.

 

Phone Coordinator

Responds to calls from community residents who require TNR services. Provides general information on TNR. 

Obtains required information and forwards to the TNR Manager for inclusion on the trapping queue.
